MARK MOORE ILLUSTRATION

I’ve been busy the past few days doing some wedding invites for a friend. This is the final illustration for the invites. I’ve got some roughs and alternatives that I’ll probably post over the next few days, mostly involving Pikachu and Hello Kitty. Obviously I didn’t charge as neither me or the friend owns the rights to these characters, it was however a fun personal project.

Can you sketch Wander from Shadow of the Colossus? That would be awesome.

Shadow of the Colossus is still on my list of games I need to play.

I’m sticking with this theme now, video game characters running. I can’t think of a better way to get used to a new piece of software (Paint Tool Sai).

I’ve been continuing with messing about in SAI and I’m finding it a lot of fun. I particularly like that you can rotate the canvas left and right really quickly by pressing “delete” and “end”, It feels a lot like real drawing on a piece of paper. Here is Sonic because I thought I’d keep the “video game characters running” theme. It’s still rough and sketchy but I’m not trying to make anything finished, just messing about.

My girlfriend is studying environmental science and is writing a report as a fictional environmental consultancy firm. She asked me to design her a logo and this is what I came up with. I’m quite happy with it, its different to how I normally draw.

I’ve just downloaded the Paint Tool SAI trial and I’m impressed. This is literally the first thing I’ve drawn in it. It’s like a mirror version of Photoshop. I don’t think it’s quite ready to dethrone Photoshop for me but I think I’ll be using it a lot more.

This is a very rough promo sort of image for my cloud project. It’s really ridiculously rough but I want to document the process of this project. I’ll start proper work on it in the new year when I’ve got less going on.

This is another quick sketch of a character from a comic I may one day get around to drawing. This time he has “realistic” eyes instead of “dashed” eyes and slightly different hair than normal.

Did this a week ago but I wanted to post it for reference for when I post the finished version. It’s from a comic I’m working on for Sefton’s Landscape Partnership Scheme.
