Sketch A Day 010
Modern Sonic spike study.
Sketch A Day 009
This is something my girlfriend said to me earlier, drawing it cheered me up.
No Sketch A Day today, instead I’m peddling my wares.
It’s free shipping worldwide on Society6 until the 28th of October.
Sketch A Day 008
I’ve been all over with the design of this character, I keep giving him dash eyes then round eyes and I can’t decide. He’s from the comic I’m yet to draw (but one day will).
Sketch A Day 007
Some sort of snooty girl.
Sketch A Day 006
Sonic and Tails. I’d love to invest my time into doing a fan comic about sonic, I’d set it after sonic 3 and knuckles and unlike sonic 4 I’d try and make it not terrible.
Sketch A Day 005
Sketch A Day 004
Sketch of a girl from a story (not a story about crazy hands, although she does have crazy hands).
Sketch A Day 003
More faces and a baboon.
Sketch A Day 002
I draw faces repetitively. I often fill an entire sketchbook page with nothing but faces. These are related to a personal comic which I’ll be working on more as soon as I’ve finished the work I’m currently doing.
Sketch A Day 001
Here we go again. No but I really enjoyed it when I posted a drawing a day. Last time though I started getting too involved with quality and only posting what I thought was good, then I started missing days because I wanted to post a better drawing. This “Sketch A Day” (even the name is different) will be one of the drawings I’ve done each day, and if I miss one it doesn’t matter. Its purely to create a digital sketchbook (sketchblog) of drawings of various quality and states on completion.
This sketch is the product of doodling on the same page as a project I’m working on at the moment. The faces are related to the project, the boy on the right isn’t. He’s a character for a video game I wanted to make (and still do) based on a boy and a pig. My aim was to make a really simple style which would be easy to animate. I’ll make it one day, it’s on the list, the massive list of great ideas I’m scared to execute for fear of failure.
The Henry Segrave Comic I did for Sefton’s Landscape Partnership is now on display in their window in Wayfarers arcade in Southport.
I’m well into making brushes for Photoshop at the moment. This was made exclusively with my own brushes (plus the standard circle brush). I also used this image for my twitter header.
Very early sketch (literally the first thing I’ve drawn), for another comic based project I should be undertaking in the next few weeks.
